Child and Family Support Worker from September 2018

We are looking to appoint a Child and Family Support Worker from September 2018.
This position is to work under the line management of the Inclusion Leader (Assistant Headteacher) to support pupils experiencing health, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, including support for families so that pupils can participate fully in home and school activities in order to achieve their full potential. The Child and Family Support Worker will be actively involved in supporting the Early Help and TAF processes, providing support to families in the delivery of, or accessing of resources, to help increase their involvement in the education and welfare of their children.
The role will involve following up daily absences of vulnerable pupils, monitoring attendance patterns and working closely with families where the school has a cause for concern to resolve attendance issues.
This is a permanent position working initially 20 hours a week, term time only. Grade 7 £20,661 to £22,658 pro rata.
