Child and Family Support Worker from September 2018

Are you motivated to making a difference to children and their families?

We are looking to appoint a Child and Family Support Worker from September 2018.

 This position is to work under the line management of the Inclusion Leader (Assistant Headteacher) to support pupils experiencing health, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, including support for families so that pupils can participate fully in home and school activities in order to achieve their full potential. The Child and Family Support Worker will be actively involved in supporting the Early Help and TAF processes, providing support to families in the delivery of, or accessing of resources, to help increase their involvement in the education and welfare of their children. 

The role will involve following up daily absences of vulnerable pupils, monitoring attendance patterns and working closely with families where the school has a cause for concern to resolve attendance issues.

This is a permanent position working initially 20 hours a week, term time only. Grade 7 £20,661 to £22,658 pro rata.

Clerk to the Governing Body from September 2018

From September 2018, we are looking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body. The Governing Body meets 10 times a year and we are looking for a Clerk who is passionate and has experience of the education sector. The role attracts a set fee for each meeting plus a retainer to cover training and attending briefings.

This is a permanent position working on a part time basis, term time only.

Remuneration:

  • £150 Per Meeting
  • £250 Retainer to cover time spent on training and attending relevant LA and Diocesan Board of Education briefings
