Full Time Sports Coach for September 2023

Pay Range:

Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale: £19,340 to £30,172. Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience.

Before and After-school Club Playleader

We are looking to appoint a Playleader who be responsible for the day-to-day organisation, planning and operation of the clubs, providing high quality play opportunities and care for children in an inclusive environment, and in accordance with our school’s ethos and procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small team with the responsibility of looking after the welfare of our pupils and supervising a small team of staff.

We run both a before and after school care clubs term time only:

Before school: Wakey Wakey Breakfast Club runs from 07.45am to 08.55am for children who attend St John’s. Staffing consists of the Playleader and a Playworker.

After school: Beach Club runs from 3.15pm to 5.15pm for children who attend St John’s. Staffing consists of the Playleader and a 2 x Playworkers.

The Playleader’s working hours are 7.30am to 9.00am Monday to Friday for Breakfast Club and 3.00pm to 5.30pm for After-school Club. In addition, half a day a week is paid for playleader admin undertaken in school..

Salary details: Grade 6 SCP 08 to SCP13 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
