Learning Engagement Mentor and Nurture Support Worker
We are looking to appoint a Learning Engagement Mentor and Nurture Support Worker for our school from September 2021.
At St John’s we have a highly effective Pastoral Team who support the wider needs of pupils and their families. This role is crucial to supporting children fully engage with learning and school life, while providing the nurture support many need to do so.
The role is for 30 hours a week, working 8.30 to 3.00pm Monday to Friday. During the morning, the role will involve supporting individual pupils to have a calm start to the day, working alongside pupils who need extra support and liaising with other professionals in and beyond the school. In the afternoon, you will lead nurture sessions for individuals and groups. The job description on the school website provides full details of the role.
Pay Grade 6
