Curriculum Overview

The curriculum at St John the Evangelist CE Primary School is planned so that children build their knowledge cumulatively over time and deepen their knowledge and understanding through the connections we have made across subjects.  Over the course of the year children across the school will take part in a range of trips linked to their curriculum work and benefit from visitors coming into school. In addition, over the course of the year, we hold theme days and weeks to enrich the curriculum. During these weeks children may, for example, work in mixed age groups with an artist in residence or a children's book author.
